About Me:
I am from Knoxville, TN and graduated from Carson-Newman College in 2008 with a degree in English (Literature Emphasis) and a minor in Applied Psychology. My senior year at Carson-Newman, I decided to apply for the newly vacant Bonner Coordinator position at Carson-Newman and was told in late April that I had the job. My wife, Ashley, and I live in Jefferson City and are trying to live more simply every day. I love music. I love reading & writing. I have aspirations of some day teaching literature at the college level and doing some community organizing around issues of homelessness, diversity, and illiteracy.
Responsibilities:
- Primary recruiting contact for the program
- Attend National Bonner Gatherings
- Facilitate student service work
- Teach Bonner Freshman Liberal Arts 101 Class in the Fall
