Friday, February 17th, 2012

12:40-1:00PM—Students & Families arrive at Bonner Center

1:00PM—Initial Introductions and quick Orientation

2:00PM- Prospective Students participate in service workshop and community tour

   Parents invited to Q&A Session lead by Bonner Staff & other CN Staff 

4:00PM- Break 

4:30PM- Prospective Students-Interview Stations with Bonner Applicants (Baker Building) 

               Parents-Optional Campus Tour (Meet at Bonner Center, Sign-up at Registration).

6:30PM- Dinner for Recruits with Current Bonners (Bonner Center)

What to Bring

-Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Toiletries (only for those staying in CN Residence Halls!)

-List of questions you may have about the Program/CN/Financial Aid (so you don’t forget!)

-Completed Application Packet (click here to download)

Lodging

CN Residence Halls: We have limited spaces for prospective Bonners to stay with current Bonners in Carson-Newman Residence Halls on Friday night.  Notify our office at least a week in advance to reserve a spot with a student.

Hotels & Motels: The closest accommodations to Carson-Newman College are in Dandridge, TN (just 8 miles from campus).  Perform a Google search for “Hotels in Dandridge, TN” for a complete list of hotels in the area.

Dinner 

We will be providing a community dinner for Bonner Recruits on Friday night.  Please let us know of any dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, etc.) and we will be sure you have food.
